The Frontier 5000 Series minimizes its environmental footprint by combining two critical factors: transitioning from R452A to R290 reduces Global Warming Potential (GWP) by over 99%, while the redesigned system requires 82% less refrigerant volume. Together, these reductions deliver a measurably lower climate impact.

R290 is widely recognized for its efficiency and sustainability. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (2022), propane’s GWP is as low as 0.02, confirming its minimal contribution to global warming.
