OHAUS introduces the new Frontier™ 5306 Mini Centrifuge, to address the needs of laboratory professionals in life sciences, academia, pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical research, diagnostic testing and forensics.

For over a century, OHAUS Corporation has built a reputation as a trusted manufacturer of accurate and reliable balances and scales. Now, OHAUS has made a natural progression that goes beyond weighing, to include laboratory instruments that provide the same high level of accurate measurement and performance, in its impressive product portfolio. Taking the same approach to its practical, durable and affordable weighing equipment, OHAUS introduces the new Frontier 5306 Mini Centrifuge, to address the needs of laboratory professionals in life sciences, academia, pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical research, diagnostic testing and forensics.

Characterized by reliability, versatility and premier safety features, the Frontier Mini Centrifuge is ideal for simple and rapid liquid separation. It has been carefully designed with a major emphasis on modern technology that drives high performance with simple operation and operator safety.

Powered by a low voltage power input, quiet motor and a rubber base that absorbs vibrations, the Frontier Mini Centrifuge keeps operational noise to a minimum, and reduces disruptions in the laboratory. In addition, it is equipped with multiple safety features designed to prevent operators from sustaining injuries. An intuitive rotor imbalance sensor and safety switches cut the power should the rotors become imbalanced, or if the lid opens unexpectedly. This eliminates the danger posed by the extremely fast spinning rotors.

The Frontier Mini Centrifuge takes easy operation to a new level. Once the device is powered on, simply place sample in the centrifuge, close the lid and it will begin to rotate - not even one button press is needed.
